Following a degree in English and Classics at London University, Sarah returned to her first love, Art, studying at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design. Her work was selected for the National Print Exhibition in 1997 at the Mall Galleries and the following year she held her first solo show in London.
In 1998, Sarah converted a room in her house in Dorset to a purpose built studio, housing her etching press and ever growing supply of art materials. This allowed her to run occasional workshops from home and show visitors around her workspace.
In February 2013 she moved to her new home in Lochgoilhead, Argyll and has been inspired by the dramatic change of scenery. Over the passed 17 years, Sarah has exhibited widely throughout England and since her recent move to Scotland she has expanded her gallery network northwards. Her work has been on display at the ‘Art on Paper’ fair at the Royal College of Art as well as being regularly showcased at the Affordable Art Fairs in Battersea, Bristol and Amsterdam by Wills Art Warehouse. Her gallery network includes galleries in both the USA and Canada. Sarah is hoping to be up and running with workshops in Scotland soon.
